The Toy Soldier Museum in Cresco, PA captures military history through intricate displays created using toy soldiers.
Jim Hillestad opened The Toy Soldier Museum in 1991 to showcase his personal collection of metal toy soldiers and to share his love of the hobby with others. The 3,000-square-foot facility houses dioramas, civilian scenes, and authentic military uniforms. Presentations include a Russian horse artillery, World War I American infantry, Salvation Army Band circa 1900, and many other displays depicting military history.
The Museum is open to the public by appointment.
Please RSVP to Sam Prynda. We need to keep the count to around 12 members.
