🦃 CHANGE TO OUR NOVEMBER MEETING VENUE!
We will be meeting online ONLY on the Zoom Service on November 21stMembers of the Executive Committee did another practice hybrid meeting  this past week.  We solved most of the technical problems associated with giving our in-person and online meeting attendees a quality meeting experience, but we still have several problems to resolve.
We plan to hold our December end of year celebration in the hybrid mode so that we can enjoy the holiday experience together.

Most of the leaves are down and the geese are headed south.  Celebrate the change of seasons with the with images from the boundless creativity of fellow PPC members!  Add to the energy of our graphic fusion with your pictures.  Capture a slice of the times and share it with your friends here.  Just as cutting and burning your own firewood warms you twice, so does capturing images of life's special moments and sharing them with family and friends.

Remember, these photos are just the tip of the iceburg of images posted by our creative members!  For more, see our Member Albums Section.
Consider submitting your own personal album in the Members' Photos area.

How To Upload Member Photos To Website (Updated)

A Suggestion:  With so many great images, it is very hard to select which images to select for an album and how many images to include.  To improve the impact of your pictures, consider narrowing the scope of each album and reducing the picture count to less than thirty images.  "But I have so many experiences to share!"  Create more albums that are smaller and more focused and people will pay more attention.

The first image in your album will represent your album on the Photo Album Directory page, so lead with an attention grabbing picture.

This will be an on-line only meeting.
We hope to resume the in-person format at our December Meeting

Images By Deborah Feingold

Award Winning Photographer Deborah Feingold

Deborah Feingold moved to New York City in 1976, where her friendship with a jazz musician inspired her to embrace a spirit of improvisation in her photography which led to her first major assignment: shooting jazz icon Chet Baker. Her work with Baker and others on his record label caught the attention of Musician magazine, who hired her as their New York liaison. Turning her small apartment into a makeshift studio and freewheeling it on the streets of New York, Feingold captured indelible images of some of the most legendary names in music, from B.B. King and James Brown to Bono and Madonna.
Feingold's unique ability to put her subjects almost immediately at ease engendered the kind of rare moments of honesty and intimacy that became the hallmark of her work, and over the ensuing decades, her photographs would appear in Rolling Stone, Time, Newsweek and The New York Times among others, along with countless album and book covers. The portraits in her catalog read like a who's who of cultural icons: President Barack Obama, Mick Jagger, Bill Gates, Tom Wolfe, Prince, Johnny Depp, George Carlin, and many more.

Join us on November 21, 2023, on-line to hear Deborah’s insights on her photos and her illustrious career. The zoom link for this meeting will come to your email address. (Due to some unavoidable sound issues from the live site, this meeting will be Zoom only.)

A Zoom meeting link will be sent to members on Friday, November 17th.
