Big Boy Steam Locomotive
June 15 + June 16

It has just come to our attention that visits to Steamtown on June 15 + June 16 and will require timed entry tickets for crowd control. Resident Big Boy #4012 and the visiting Union Pacific Big Boy #4014 will be lined up side by side for those two days. On the 17th, #4014 will undergo maintenance and only be available for limited viewing through June 30, when it will continue its US tour. For more information go to:

The tickets only cost $1 each. The visit is for 2 hour periods. You can enter up to 30 minutes prior to your reserved time period. Tickets must be ordered at:

This Timed Entry Reservation is for access to Steamtown NHS on the No. 4014 Big Boy Public Display Days - June 15 + June 16

Advance Reservations are required for entry to Steamtown National Historic Site throughout No. 4014's Visit. There will be no walkup reservations available at the site and all reservations must be made online in advance of your visit.

You may enter the site up to 30 minutes prior to your reservation time, or after your scheduled reservation time. Steamtown will be closing each day at 5 p.m. and all visitors must depart the park by that time.
