MONTHLY PHOTOGRAPHIC THEMES

The Pocono Photo Club hosts various photo assignments to get members out of their comfort zones, learn or improve upon particular skills and develop creative vision.  Theme assignments are conducted by members individually.  Shooting assignments are specified and may be captured as, and where the members choose.

Monthly Photographic Theme Policy

Monthly photographic theme assignments are at the discretion of each member and are not an “official” club activity (such as our monthly meetings) organized by PPC. Participants assume any and all liability that might or may be connected with their participation in a Monthly Theme assignment.  Safety is always the prime consideration.

Show Us Your Green!

March is famous as the month filled with the color Green. Many homes display outdoor and indoor decorations of shamrocks, Leprechauns, flags and floral wreaths. People purchase party hats and costumes to prepare for the many parties held in celebration of March 17th, a time when many communities hold public parades. Stores and businesses often have interesting or humorous window decorations, all providing great opportunities to create a wide variety of photographs to share with your fellow club members.

So, the club’s Theme of the Month for March is “Show Us Your Green.” Get your camera and post processing software ready and create unique images to submit for display at our March club meeting. Let’s recognize many members’ photos in this new monthly feature at our club meetings. Submit your photos by March 8th to the drop box listed and show us your green.
