Welcome to the Pocono Photo Club...

Our mission is to encourage knowledge, skills and enjoyment of photography through monthly meetings, workshops, lectures and demonstrations encompassing all phases of photography.

The Pocono Photo Club consists of area professionals, advanced amateurs and those just beginning their journey into photography. Our members photograph a wide range of subjects including nature, landscape, macro, portraiture, sports and much more.

December PPC Meeting

YOU ARE THE STAR

Submit 3-5 of your favorite photos from 2024 to be presented at the December member meeting.

Say a few words about your photos, or sit back and enjoy the show with the rest of the membership!

Attending In-Person:

We encourage you to attend in-person, Keller Williams is located at:

404 Park Avenue in Stroudsburg

Doors open at 6:30 for pre-meeting visiting

We will be meeting in the second-floor training room. Please park in the rear parking lot and use the back entrance. The front office entrance will be locked. If you plan to attend via Zoom, look for the link in the meeting email sent on the Friday before the Monthly Meeting date.

For those of you attending via Zoom, the meeting link is published by club emailing on the Friday before and on the meeting day. Keep an eye out for your message.

Photo Exhibit

"Nature in the Poconos"

The Pocono Photo Club has been asked to be the next Photo Exhibit at the Brodhead Creek Heritage Preserve.

The Exhibit will run from December 2nd through the end of March 2025.

We know this is short notice and we can hang photos after the opening date on December 2nd.

Guideline for exhibit:

Theme - Nature in the Poconos

Up to 3 Images per photographer.

Images can be sold, 20% of sale goes to the PHLT.

All images must be registered with PHLT, Forms will be available at PHLT.

Size limit suggestion 16x20.

Drop off date will be December 2 between 9-5. Any volunteers to help would be appreciated. Photos can be added after due to short notice of event.

No Fee to enter.

All Photos must have hanging wire.

We have a meet the photographer sometime in early January. TBA

Pick up date in March TBA.

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN FOR YOU TO BE A STAR!

We would like to have up to 5 of your favorite images from each member for the end of year meeting video presentation. Each member will have the opportunity to discuss their photo to explain why it was special to them.

Photos must be from this year, 2024

Skytop Lodge Christmas

Saturday December 14th, 2024

at 4:00 p.m.

Come out and join us for a Christmas shootout event at the Beautiful Skytop Lodge.

See all the Christmas Trees, Flowers, lights, and the life size Gingerbread house.

Check out all the outside gardens, The back porch, Main entry way, the main fireplace and the library.

Don't forget the outlook tower on the 4th floor!

Scenes from the 40th Senatorial District Photo Submissions

SCENES FROM THE 40TH SENATORIAL DISTRICT PHOTO SUBMISSIONS

Sen. Rosemary Brown is inviting residents of the 40th Senatorial District to showcase their photography skills and capture the beauty and unique character of the community by submitting their favorite shots for inclusion in the Scenes from the 40th District photo gallery.

Participants are encouraged to submit their best photographs that highlight the natural landscapes, community events, historical landmarks and everyday life within the district, which includes parts of Lackawanna, Wayne and all of Monroe county.
