March Meeting: Doug Johnson + Keeping Your Photography Fresh

Have you ever felt like your photography has reached a plateau? Maybe your images feel a little repetitive, or the excitement you once had when picking up the camera has started to fade. It happens to every photographer at some point.

Join us for an inspiring Pocono Photo Club monthly meeting featuring photographer Doug Johnson, who will share ideas, techniques, and creative approaches designed to help you break through that rut and rediscover the joy of photography. Through this engaging lecture, Doug will explore ways to refresh your perspective, spark new inspiration, and challenge yourself creatively behind the lens.

Whether you're a beginner looking for motivation or an experienced photographer seeking a creative reset, this session will help jump-start your photography and put the fun back into it.

Come ready to learn, be inspired, and reconnect with the creative side of photography! 📷✨

PPC Shoot Out: Pocono Indian Museum
March 7, 2026
10:00 am
5425 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302

The Pocono Indian Museum traces the history of the Delaware (Lenape) Indians dating back from 10, 500 B.C.

The museum will both inform and, perhaps, shock you. It will show the North American history of man in Northeastern Pennsylvania from 10,500 B.C. to the contact period with European man prior to the American Revolution. It will show the Delaware Indians’ peaceful coexistence with other Indians. And, it will show you the shocking and short 100 years it took the white man to virtually eliminate almost all traces of the Pennysvian Lenape existence.

We’re excited to share a wonderful local photography event with our community! Photographers Sarina and Bob Cookwill be hosting their Shared Horizons Photography Exhibit, a collection of images that reflect their shared passion for storytelling through photography.

This special exhibit will take place at the Barrett Paradise Friendly Library in Cresco, where visitors are invited to view the work, enjoy light refreshments, and spend time chatting with the photographers about their creative process and inspiration behind the images.

Community exhibits like this are a wonderful way to celebrate photography, connect with fellow creatives, and support local artists.
