I first began enjoying photography when I was able to get my hands on a Sears rangefinder camera in eighth grade - a long time ago.
Olympus has been my choice of camera and lens since a few years back when Frank Smith gave a presentation about Olympus at a PPC monthly meeting. Since my wife, Robin, and I do a lot of hiking, I appreciate the lighter weight compared to the full frame camera I had been carrying.
As a retired biologist, I seem to most enjoy photographing various aspects of nature: animals, plants, and scenery. I’m hoping that one of these years I’ll be able to see and get a good photo of the northern lights.
In addition to the PPC, I enjoy participating in the photo club of The Older Adult Learning Center. And we’re always looking for new members.
