Kathy Baker is the Pocono Photo Club Photographer of the Month!
I joined the Pocono Club in 2019, and I am what you would say a newborn with regards to photography. I picked up a camera a little over two years ago when I retired, not sure how it would go, but have fallen in love with photography.
My inspiration was my husband, Bob, who has been doing photography for 30+ years and has been my mentor/teacher.
I enjoy all types of photography, but my favorite is flowers.
I currently use a Canon Rebel T7i with 18-250 lens, which has met all my needs so far. I also enjoy photo editing, maybe more so than taking the picture, and looking to build my skill with regards to a more artistic feel.
I enjoy the Pocono Club and thoroughly enjoy the outings. Everyone I have met is friendly and willing to help in any way they can, and looking forward to the club meetings taking place in person again, hopefully that will be in the not too distant future.
