The Pocono Photo Club will be having a Photo Exhibit for the month of April at the Middle Smithfield Community Center at 5200 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302. The Title of the exhibit will be: Life in the Poconos Please review the following guide lines: - There is no size limit on the framed photos - 3 - 5 photos will be accepted - All framed photos must have a support wire on back to be hung - Photos can be from any timeframe - All persons displaying photos must fill out Submission form and name tag card. Forms and cards will be available on day of drop off - Drop off time will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 P.M. April 1st, 2024 at the Middle Smithfield Community Center - All photos must be picked up on April 29th by 5:00 p.m. If you cannot drop of your photos, please contact Steen Jensen at steen.jensen@verizon.net to make arrangements. The Pocono Photo Club Executive Committee meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month. Non-EC Committee club members are welcome to attend EC meetings. Shootout RESCHEDULED The Shootout at Stroudsburg Fire Department originally planned for Saturday March 23rd and which was postponed due to heavy rain and potential flooding has been rescheduled! Join us for a day of exploring the historic Stroudsburg Fire Dept. We will be able to see the current and the antique Fire equipment along with the history of the department. We‘re in! We have permission from all the powers that be, for the PNC bank‘s final day, this Friday, April 19th from 10 AM-12 PM to shoot the vault. Thanks to the manager, Patty, that made all the calls. This has been a wish of mine (Susan‘s) for years. The workmanship is amazing. I suggest we take turns shooting the interior with no one in it, and then for macro many of us can be inside. The door is amazing as well. Truly a lost art. This will be the vault‘s last haraaa.
